I said that I was a bit disappointed that a motherboard of this grade can come out of the box and be defective and the MSI support told me that it was not possible.Simply use a USB key to flash any BIOS within seconds, without installing a CPU, memory or graphics card. I explained my problem, how I managed to fix it and avoid an RMA. I was shocked by the response from MSI (Nicolas of MSI France). I told them how I fix it and they said quote : "The motherboards are scanned out of factory and it's impossible that a pin can be bent, it's impossible for the fan to not be working correctly". **UPDATE 3 :**I actually contacted MSI support about this a few days ago, and they responded.

This is one of the best feelings of the world, pure hapiness. I fixed it and saved myself many more days of anxiety and RMA hassle. I really want to thank the guys at .uk they solved my problem. I can now perfectly control the chipset fan and it usually doesn't spin under 55☌. I then plugged the heatsink fan back in, turned the computer on and BOOM : The problem was fixed. This was hard because the socket is really tiny. UPDATE 2 : After putting the case on my workstation i took a needle and gently bent the 4th pin into the right position. This is the first time that this has happened on an MSI product. Either way I'm a bit disappointed in the MSI build quality. I think I can see a bent pin but I'm not sure. UPDATE : After searching and searching on various forum, I found this thread and when I took out my fan connector I saw that it has 4 pins however I can only seem to see 3 pins in the really small fan socket.

I really don't want to RMA the board in case there's a problem. Is this normal ? Does anyone here experience the same ? I feel that it shouldn't make this much noise. My PC was making a fan noise, and after checking I was very suprised to see it was the heatsink fan integrated into the motherboard. Anyone here got a MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard ? I built my PC today with 4 case fans and a Noctua NH-D15.
